married Thomas Wilson Telford, Sr., cashier of the Bank of Hiawassee.

Note: Most Leonard's life has been spent on the original farm and homestead, as
it sometimes happens the youngest is singled out to care for the parents:
so it was with Leonard. After the parents's death, the more than 1,000
acres was divided among the 12 children. He later sold his part and
purchased a larger farm in Cherokee Count, NC in the Warne Community,
near Murphy. Is essence, he came back to the area of his ancestors.
