Note: Daphne Normal College at Daphne, Ala. As a sophomore she came home from
school and taught one term of school at Hightower in 1910. She met and
married Thomas Wilson Telford, Sr., cashier of the Bank of Hiawassee.

Death: 25 MAY 1951 Maysville, Ga. at age of 67

Note: Most Leonard's life has been spent on the original farm and homestead, as
it sometimes happens the youngest is singled out to care for the parents:
so it was with Leonard. After the parents's death, the more than 1,000
acres was divided among the 12 children. He later sold his part and
purchased a larger farm in Cherokee Count, NC in the Warne Community,
near Murphy. Is essence, he came back to the area of his ancestors.
