Corn, Peter (b. , d. ?)
Note: Looking for Peter and Ann CORN of Scioto Co., Ohio (southern-central Ohio
bordering Kentucky) of c. 1800. Are they connected to George Corn family
of Mercer Co., KY, or Mathew Corn family of VA? In 1804, Peter and Ann
sold land in Nicholas Co., KY, which had previously been willed to Peter
and Ann by William Trousdale [Ann's maiden name?], to Thomas Endicott,
Jr.

Mike, Would appreciate anything you might find out re; James. I think he
could have been a child of John Ripley Corn son of George Corn. George
was the 1st tosettle in Ohio and he brought 10 of his children with him
in abt 1814 according to a Ironton Jackson Co., OH newspaper article.
John R Corn was listed as a voter in the 1st election in that area in
1816. George his Grandson, the son of Peter, named Pleasant changed the
spelling to Corns also.

Corn, Phoebe (b. , d. ?)
Note: When browsing in VA Wills & Administrations, etc. I found a PHEBE cORN,
dau. of LUCY CORN,being bound out by the Church Warden of Dale Parrish,
Chesterfield Co, VA 4 Dec 1778. LUCY CORN is probably also the mother of
MATTHEW and ROBERT CORN, who are bound out in 1774. There were also a few
other CORN children bound out in Dale Parish. This is probably all one
family. Obviously LUCY CORN is a widow, b. abt 1720's, who was left with
a large family of minor children. Does anyone have any idea who LUCY
CORN's husband could have been?? Also, in 1782, PHEBE CORN has a
complaint in court abt JOHN STEWART REDFORD, to whom she is apprenticed.
