Territory before it became a State. Also,
there is a Corn, Oklahoma where some of
the family lived at one time. But, the ones
we are from settled around the eastern
Oklahoma town of Tahlequah, and
Westville. Howard Martin Corn Sr.
my childlren's grandfather was married to
a Susie Venable in Georgia. She is buried
near Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was
married at least two more times.

.
Solomon Smith Corn and his wife Lydia went to Oklahoma when the territory
opened for settlement and also their youngest daughter Lou had Astma and
they thought the change in climate might help her.
.
Debra, Solomon Corn and wife did not
come to Indian Territory (Oklahoma) from
Georgia. James and Susie Venable Corn
came to I.T. (Oklahoma). Their youngest
child, Howard Corn Sr., was my first
husbands father. To tell you why they
came to I. T. was probably just wander-
lust. I really do not know and doubt that
anyone living now would know.
